Ford Racing's direct-fit aluminum radiator is specifically designed
and engineered for the 2005-2010 Mustang with the 4.6-Litre V-8 engine.
Its core features two rows of one-inch tubes and is capped on both ends
with hand fabricated aluminum tanks. For ease of installation and direct
fit, the unit includes all the necessary brackets and fittings to
accommodate the factory electric fan and air conditioning condenser. It's
efficient crossflow design cools high performance engines and is rated
up to 700 horsepower. From daily driver to boulevard cruising, to road

This great power package is a combination of popular parts from Ford Racing that have been tested to increase power and throttle response of the 4.6L 3V engine. Each part is heavily tested and designed to fit properly with the factory heads and accessories. The Ford Racing "hot rod" cams are by far the most powerful street/strip cams on that market that are compatible and retain the stock valvetrain. These cams are designed to be compatible with, and make the most of, the variable cam timing system. Unlike other cams, these cams do not use cam timing lockout plates. To help supply the extra air flow commanded by these hotter cams, this package also includes the new Ford Racing composite intake manifold and Ford Racing billet throttle body. Custom tuning is required to properly dial-in these parts and is not included. Once properly dialed in, an easy 40HP improvement will be noticed on 4.6L 3V engines already equipped with a cold air intake.
This kit is also a great setup for customers thinking about going with a centrifugal supercharger or turbo setup as the throttle body, intake manifold, and cams will help flow that extra air at lower peak boost levels and manifold air temperatures.

This package includes free freight. Please note that the intake manifold is currently scheduled to ship on 5/15/10. The cams and throttle body will shipped first and the intake manifold will be shipped once available.

Testing Update April 2010: Ford Racing has tested a 4.6L motor
with this top end power package, their 85MM cold air intake, and long
tube headers. The result was an EASY 425 HP at 6300 RPM and 380 Ft-lbs
Torque at 4600 RPM with proper calibration. Proper calibration is
important. Power continued to build over 440 HP as the engine reached
7000 RPM. The engine also made over 275 Ft-lbs Torque from 2400 RPM and
steadily increased to 375 Ft-lbs Torque at 4,600-6,000 RPM. These
numbers are SAE corrected number as measured on an engine dyno at the
flywheel. Expect to see about 12-15% less at the rear wheels with
proper calibration.
