  • Engineered by the same designers of the stock camshafts. No other cam manufacturer has the aggressive sound and durability these cams offer.
  • These cams are very limited in availability because they are not mass produced.  They are specially designed and manufactured by the Engine Manufacturing Development Operations Department at Ford Motor Company which produces the engine development parts for the new engine designs.  They are made exclusively for Ford Racing as a favor.  Due to limited machine capacity and time they can only produce 50 per month.  That is not even close to meeting the worldwide demand for these cams.  We have them in stock and ready to ship.  The cams we have were ordered in March 2011.  Our next order will not be available until December 2011.  If you want them you better get them.
  • The most powerful cams available that are safe with the production valvetrain.  No cam phaser lockouts needed.  Use of the stock valve springs IS recommended.
  • Currently being used in Rough Rider off-road race trucks
  • Excellent upgrade for the 2005-2010 Mustang GT 4.6L 3V engine
  • Increases lift from the stock 11mm to 12mm
  • Intake / exhaust duration of 221 / 240 degrees (@ 0.050" lift), lobe separation of 110 degrees. 
  • Compatible with production springs, followers and lash adjusters up to 6800rpm
  • 50hp gain(SAE-J1349)with the stock intake and M-6049-N3VPA CNC heads at 6500 rpm. 30hp gain without CNC heads.
  • Requires custom calibration to achieve optimized performance. Calibration not included.  Recommended wide open throttle cam timing values are included in the instruction sheet.
  • Ford Racing's Pro-Cal tunes DO NOT support this part.  An aftermarket tuner and custom calibration will need to be sourced.
  • This camshaft provides a lopey idle reminiscent of 1960's muscle cars, no other modular camshaft sounds like this.

i was satisfied with the increase in hp with the hot rod cams in my 07 mustang gt. tuned at HP performance in orange park, i had a 21 hp gain. i already have jlt intake, bbk twin 62mm throttle body,motin delete plates, headers, x pipe, axle back exhaust, underdrive pulley kit. was also best hp gain they have seen yet. i just recently puchased your 3v intake manifold, i will leave a review as well when its installed.  GO FORD RACING.....
